Tattoo Parlor Joins Sarpy County Business Community.

For some it was a nightmare on Washington Street.

"Things have changed,” Doctor Jack's Ink Emporium President Derek Wallen said. “It’s not all bikers and things of that nature. Of course we have bikers that show up but the crowd that's getting tattoos is a much wider spectrum than it used to be."

Some residents had problems with the tattoo and piercing shop. A ninety signature petition against the shop was sent to city hall.

"At first it was really disappointing,” Stensrud said. “It was like, I grew up here and I went to the grade school they're so concerned about and so where they said the safety of children...I have a kid. How do I tell him that I’m a determent to his health? So I’m really happy with the way things turned out."

Things turned out with the snip of a ribbon, a plaque presentation and a handshake welcoming Doctor Jack's as the newest member of the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce.

Otoe County Man Faces Charge Of Trying To Hire Hit Man.

A tattoo artist in Nebraska City was arrested on charges that he tried to hire a hit man.

Ronald Coon allegedly solicited an undercover police officer and asked him to kill one of Coon's close relatives.

Coon filed for divorce in December but investigators won't comment on which relative Coon wanted dead.
