Art piece of the week.
The bold lines and colors of this piece set it apart from the other paintings exhibited in the BFA showing in the gallery.
The artist, Aeron Henderson, is a 25-year-old Fairbanks resident who looks to tattoo art for inspiration. Her body is a testament to her favorite style; she describes herself as being "covered in tattoos."
"She is confidant in her style but she still explores. That's a sign of a good artist," said Hanna Stevenson, 3-D design instructor, MFA, and friend of Henderson
