About the Artist...
I think I was always artistic in one way or another. From the time I could pick up a pencil and leave a mark on something I was hooked. I was no stranger to tattoos. My father had a handful as well as many friends of the family. And even though I was told not to get any, I knew it was just a matter of time. I started to rebel against everything like kids do and got into tagging and graffiti art as a form of expression. To make a long story short, I soon found myself behind bars. A friend of mine talked me into picking up a homemade tattoo machine. My first couple tattoos didn't look too good, then I started to get my hand. This was when I was 15 years old. I started doing lettering on people then moved on to the cholo style that's so popular here in California. Once again I was using primitive set ups and homemade ink in an environment where tattooing was illegal, so I learned to be quick! I have taught myself, picking up tricks here and there, and have come a long way since way back then. My style is a mixture of who I am. I'm into celtic knots as well as norse related scenes. You may notice runes as well as Odinist symbology. This is because I'm a practicing Pagan, but I have not let my personal beliefs limit my artistic ability as well as creativity. As I mentioned earlier I had become very good at the Cholo style and celtic knots are some of my favorite and most challenging forms of art. One of the benefits of coming into my own inside of the system is the broad spectrum of requests I receive. One day I might find myself laying down norse related scenes and the next day I may be slinging some urban ink.....and it never stops. Not only do I love doing what I do, I love looking back at the progression I've made over the years in terms of expression through my art. And with that I would like to thank you for stopping by and checking out my work. Just keep an open mind and remember that I do try to keep my art as hard core as possible, no matter what the style, yet I try to keep is as different from the rest out there as possible. I hope that you enjoy.
